Harris Cup Tournament
Qualifying Round Sept 18th
For the 9th straight year, Mulligan's will  participate in the Harris Cup National Miniature Golf Tournament. We'll be holding the Regional Qualifying Round on Saturday, September 18th at 8am.

1st and 2nd Place winners each receive an invitation to play in the National Finals in, which will be held on October 2nd in Vestal, NY. At the National Finals, players compete for $10,000 in total prizes.

In addition to the invitation, 1st place in our Qualifying Round will receive $500, and  2nd place $100.

Along with the good competition, we use our Qualifying Round to raise money for a worthy cause. Once again this year we're raising funds for the Massachusetts Academy of Math & Science in Worcester. This school provides accelerated education to area high school students. All profits from our event will go to the Parent Support Group of the school.

The cost is just $15 per player, or $50 for a group of four. Company, family, or organization sponsorships are also available and will be gratefully welcomed.

For more information, please call (978-422-5022) or visit the clubhouse.

See you there!

Robot Invades Mulligan's!

Zac Temple, freshman from Nashoba Regional High School, recently visited Mulligan's with a unique golf partner - his award winning mini-golf robot. Zac was part of a team that included Aaron Seymour (Senior) and Jimmy Porteus (Junior). The team developed the robot and went on to win the Mid-Wachusett Robotics Competition held on May 22nd.

After winning the competition, Zac was interested to see how his electronic buddy would fair on a real mini-golf course, and contacted Mulligan's. He and his dad played a full round of 18 holes. The threesome certainly got the interest of our other guests playing at the time.

"I learned that while the robot worked very well on the holes constructed for the competition, more power would be needed to get up some of the long hills we encountered at Mulligan's." They were last seen heading off to consult Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor.

Congratulations to Zac and his team for their achievement!

Guinness World Record!
Mulligan's is the site of the original Guinness World Record - Most Holes of Miniature Golf Played in 24 Hours. This new category of World Record was created by the Mulligan's staff working with the Guinness organization. The record was set on May 26-27th 2004 by Matt Majikas of Sterling, MA. Matt shot an impressive 3035 holes of miniature golf, or over 168 rounds.
